Physicians participating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services 2011 Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program have until Feb. 29 to submit their “meaningful use” data. To qualify for the 2011 bonus, participants must submit attestation data that demonstrates meaningful use of a qualified EHR system for 90 days. Physicians who begin participating in the 2011 or 2012 programs are eligible to receive a total incentive of $44,000 over five years.
